Lisa's Legit Burritos - Augusta

I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant because I had heard great things. Unfortunately it was one of the worst burritos I have had and seems like it came straight from an Ortega meal kit that had expired in the back of a hannaford shelf. I ordered what is essentially their version of a Crunchwrap and couldn’t have been more disappointed. The pork was stringy, dried out, hard, and bland making me think it had been sitting for a while. They had run out of regular cheese so I had to settle for the canned nacho cheese (I visited this establishment around 1pm, not long after open). The corn tortilla in the wrap was stale. So I must say I was very excited about trying this place! We are from Florida and I can’t think of any burrito places. Plenty of Mexican restaurants but not burrito places. I was greeted immediately by a male employee! He was super awesome and offered complements as well! He gave some of his personal recommendations which was great being that I had never been there before. -LOVED LOVED LOVED the chicken and cheese quesadilla! Amazing! The cheese on top made it that much better. -The burrito was HUGE! I got the build you own legit size burrito. I was a little let down to see that the majority of that burrito was rice. I got the Specialty Quesadillas: Cali Enrique. The food was ok, it wasn't as good as I was expecting, but it wasn't bad. The table was dirty and sticky. The people working were loud. There were American decorations (flags, tables, signs). It was pretty cheap though. Maybe I'll come back, as take out.

These burritos are legit! It's definitely worth getting away from all the mall restaurants to grab a bite at Lisa's. Vegan options! The vegan burrito with sweet potato is tasty and the perfect amount of food.

Prompt service and delicious,.flavorful design your own burritos. The soft shell chicken tacos were standard. Knocked a star because I ordered a sweet potato-filled burrito and they mixed it up with yellow squash. Still delicious but not what I ordered. Really liked their shelf of hot sauces.
