​Local Gem Near I-95 ​I stopped by yesterday and was really impressed. This is a family-owned restaurant and a local favorite—definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area or traveling along I-95. ​The Food: I ordered two of the specials: ​Seafood Stew & Lobster Finger Roll (~$16): The stew was fresh, though a bit mild/bland for my taste as they likely cater to the general public. However, adding a bit of buffalo sauce really kicked it up a notch! ​Fried Lobster Tails & Fries (~$27): Absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the lobster was cooked perfectly. We discovered this while searching for a great lunch option. This held all of the great nostalgia of our childhood growing up here in Maine. Fried seafood the way fried seafood should be done! Laid back, family friendly, cardboard containers, local ads on the tables, and friendly banter with the staff. It’s the type of place that feels like home. I enjoyed whole belly clams. Husband had shrimp and haddock. Our son just wanted mozzarella sticks. Hubby and I both ordered onion rings instead of fries. Everything was delicious! Amazing little restaurant tucked near 95. We stopped here for a quick lunch on a Saturday on our way home from Acadia. We had lobster rolls, both plain (just served with lobster meat and side of butter) and cold with mayo. For $20 each, you can’t beat this when the prices elsewhere are so much higher! Best of all, the rolls had big, fresh chunks of lobster… well worth it and delicious! We also had an “appetizer” size of clamstrips which was huge, and the “snack” size chicken nuggets (also big enough for a meal and then some). Highly recommend stopping in if you can!

Such a nice local place with delicious food and great people. It has a very "cliche" American vibe with country music, interior, local people and huge portions. Food was great and sauces are free, just ask. There are two rooms inside and plenty of space outside. So far, it's the best fastfood restaurant I've been to.

Absolutely fabulous place. If you're anywhere near the Augusta area, and you want a lobster roll, come here. They do them Maine, or New England style. I got mine NE style, warm with butter, and it had the meat of about 5 or 6 full lobster claws in it. The seafood stew is fantastic as well. Staff is great, food is fresh, service is fast, prices are good.
