Customer Reviews
So tasty. The bagels were delicious and coffee solid. Cute area to walk around your dog after. The place is super cute inside too.
Delicious. I ordered the Augustine. Bagel had a great flavor (honey rosemary). Tomatoes were top quality, which I appreciate. Oftentimes those will be mushy and unappetizing. Additional perk is no preservatives so you know you're not eating a bunch of chemicals. I also appreciate the vegan and vegetarian options. My daughter and her friends loves the upstairs seating area.
The bagels here are delicious. They have a nice selection to choose from. Also, their cream cheese is so good. They have picnic tables outside. You can sit out and watch the Kennebec River flow by. They have seating upstairs inside. It is very clean and looks great, both inside and out. They have done a great job refurbishing this old building.
The moment I pulled up to this place I had high hopes, and those hopes were fulfilled. I could talk about the modern, comfortable and clean store itself, or the wonderful friendly staff---but the bagels. Oh my. The bagels are some of the best I have ever had but the combinations and toppings are what make them achieve their glory. This is a new gem with a rapidly growing customer base for a reason! The menu is a one-page size and each bagel is perfected (at least all the ones I have tried so far). And they always have some tempting different pastry at the checkout. No overstimulation or choice fatigue! The Honey Rosemary bagel made me want to cry, instant love. If you're in the area or a regular commuter, look no further. This calming, charming, diamond on the corner is certain to soothe y
I ordered what was supposed to be a Zaatar bagel, and I was really disappointed. Honestly, it didn’t taste like zaatar at all it was missing the salt, sumac, and sesame seeds. The only thing I could really taste was thyme. I’ve been eating zaatar my whole life, and I totally get that the owners aren’t Middle Eastern. But if you’re going to call it zaatar, it might be worth reaching out to someone who knows the traditional mix so it actually tastes right. This just didn’t give that tangy, nutty flavor I was hoping for.
