Lion's Den Tavern

We ate there tonight an we were stunned to see our bill for $72+ dollars….for a tall beer, a short beer, 2 margaritas 1800 tequila and nachos. Evidently margaritas do not get a happy hour discount, even the well margaritas…. Which I did not have because I was not aware that I had not ordered the well margarita .. our waitress was great, no problems with her..the prices are crazy!

The place was bursting at the seams as it was the night for the parade of lights. Food was very salty and heavy, but we will be back to try other menu items.

I came with a large group last night. Service was quick and the food was delicious. The downstairs had a cool old fashioned vibe. The drinks were fire. I got the creamy garlic chicken with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes and rasperry spritzer.

Great environment and food. One of the better places in Waterville to eat dinner. We had an awesome server but I failed by forgetting her name. I highly recommend trying out Lions Den! The steak was cooked to perfection!! The artichoke dip was amazing as well.

The Lion’s Den offers a relaxed atmosphere with some of the best folks in the business. They care about their guests and make it their mission to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Having recently adopted a more vegetarian lifestyle, I have been shying away from eating out. The Lion’s Den menu accommodates with an amazing Sesame Ginger Tofu!
