North Street Dairy Cone

I’ve been coming to Dairy Cone since I was kid to grab a Fluffernutter shake. Now as an adult we come back with the our children and they love it just as much. Our favorites are the pistachio ice cream and the Affogato, made with Mbingos coffee. They sometimes have flavors they are trying out so it’s always nice to come and check out the new additions to the menu. Dairy Cone truly is one the best ice cream shops and has become our go to whenever we are in the area.

A friend recommend me to try this place out, and I was happy with it. I came to try their ginger ice cream, which was incredible. Their orange sherbet was in season, so I got that as well. It was such a great combo! There are not many parking spots, and I was stuck parking in a random parking lot next door. It's right on the side of the road, so it can get a little chaotic looking for parking. There also weren't many seating options, but I had no issue sitting in my car to eat. It was also blistering hot that day and there was no shading whatsoever, which is why I had no issue sitting in my car with the AC blasting and good ice cream in my hand. We are SO LUCKY to have this world-class ice cream right here in Waterville! Seriously amazing quality, made with high quality ingredients and skill, and always all kinds of new and seasonal flavors. I love the old school building and location right across from the Y..very nostalgic while practical at the same time.

Excellent ice cream with interesting flavors like rhubarb and ginger, in addition to the standbys. The flavors made with locally roasted Mbingo coffee are out of this world.
