Pleasant Street Inn

This was a fantastic find. Very reasonable rates for a very cute and impeccably clean inn. It is not fancy, and breakfast is self-prepared, but this suited us perfectly. I loved the tastefully colorful decor, big windows, and convenient location. The beds were super comfortable and the room had everything we might need - extra blankets, fan/air conditioner. The fridge was well stocked for a simple breakfast, including fresh berries already prepared. As in many old houses, some of the doors didn’t fit perfectly, but aside from that everything was in good condition and functional. The kitchen is large and open for use which came in handy to find dishes for our eating our take out Chinese food. The open living space downstairs is nice for lounging.

The Inn was charming and clean. Very comfortable and great rates- I stayed two nights with my family and all three of the rooms we had were lovely. Walking distance to great restaurants and the river.

Well run. Good value. Breakfast is continental, self served from common kitchen. Room (2 twin beds) was small, but clean and comfortable.

This is a great spot to stop at for the night. It’s clean and comfortable as well as reasonably priced. I had room #2 which has a private half-bath. It met my needs perfectly and I had a great night's sleep. The area was quiet and there’s off-street parking. The inn has plenty of comfortable communal space and a full kitchen should you choose to cook. ||It’s a self-serve style inn so be sure you’ve received check-in instructions before you arrive. There must have been a glitch in the system; we had four rooms and we’d not received anything. We took care of it upon arrival so it ended up not being an issue.||Breakfast is English muffins, breads, cereal, yogurts and waters. If those don’t meet your needs, you can bring your own. Beware making a reservation if your local event might be cancelled. ||Made a reservation to attend a local conference at Johnnys - they were very helpful. Sadly- the area is experiencing a heat wave and Jonny’s offered a refund if you could not attend. I am undergoing treatment for breast cancer and I can’t handle the heat and I was concerned I couldn’t make it through day and then travel home. The hotel did not offer any refund - just their 10 day notice of cancellation which I didn’t get from my local conference. Better to stay at a local chain in case you need to cancel
