I nominate this place for Bib Gourmand! Yes, seriously- this is one of the best Asian food I had in a while outside of what I have eaten in China. This is a tiny place with huge taste! Unpretentious little hole in wall place, you are there to eat, it’s not about the tables or decor. One of my pet peeves is kitchen smoke and smells - and given the size of the place I was expecting that we would be smoked like fish by the time we finished eating. But incredibly not even a bit of kitchen smoke or anything. We enjoyed the dishes so much we were speechless! I am still thinking about the broth, the crunch on the noodles dish, the unique cumin potstickers.. and so on. If I lived in the area I would become a regular. The quality of food and taste this place is serving out is incredible - so in my

Tiny little restaurant in the west village serving up familiar Chinese cuisine, not the classic NY takeout with neon sign, more regional and homemade stuff here. We got the Brother Lin’s Beef Noodle Soup and Sister Lin’s Chicken Noodle Soup. Both, in my opinion, were very good. I found the Beef soup to be more flavorful and savory, the broth was had a more punch, not to mention the very tolerable spice level too. The Chicken soup would be perfect on a cold or sick day and felt a bit healthier / simpler. The prices are a bit higher than those spots in Chinatown serving up similar fare, but, this is obviously catering to the neighborhood and with that, convenience is at a price. The food is good and I would recommend! There’s about 3 tables inside and also 4 bar seats, so keep that in min

I know West Village rents are crazy, but this is basically the same food as any of the Fujianese noodle/dumpling shops in Chinatown at 3x the price. The ingredients are a notch or two higher, and everything is made fresh (no batched and lukewarm fried dumplings). And you get a top 40 Spotify playlist too, I guess, and signature "sauces" that are for sale. I can't fault the business sense to be honest, but $15 for dumplings I guess is something I'm just not ready for.

This is such a cute and cozy place 💙 the kind of place you can go as a party of one, two or three and enjoy good food. The menu is on the wall when you walk in, the sake offerings and food and the server was very friendly and helpful. This is your little romantic restaurant to get close, or go with your bestie to hear good news or take your kids for one on one dinner and listening time. We really enjoyed the ambiance. The food was good, I had the shrimp dumplings, he had the beef noodles. What I loved - the dumplings had a fat, juicy full shrimp inside. What he loved - his dish was just the right level of spicy. We both loved the sake. I want to go back and try the peanut butter noodles and just enjoy the vibe, relaxing, romantic, sweet and lovely place to dine.
