Customer Reviews
We wanted Thai food when we were in Troy and decided to go to this restaurant because of the good reviews. We were greeted upon entering and seated right away. We were there for lunch on a weekend and it was not busy at all. Looks to be a family run business. Service was good with only the lady and her daughter working the front. We ordered the Thai tea and it was a bit too sweet. The Tom Yum noodle soup was good but also a bit on the sweet side compared to what I've had in other restaurants. But I do like it though. Tastes more like the Vietnamese version. The chicken curry puffs were good with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. Though a bit pricey with only 3 puffs for $8. Also curry flavor could have been a bit stronger. We will have to go back to try more off their menu. We would have
We had a great dinner here. Those spicy salads were really tasty. Also, the owner and staffs were nice and friendly.
I’ve been here a handful of times and the food is generally pretty good. The only dish I’ve tried that I probably won’t order again is the pho. I’ve had better pho but then again, this isn’t a Vietnamese place. Last time I went, it was extremely busy and the lady was mostly working the front on her own with the help of her young daughter. Wouldn’t hurt to get a reservation if you’re coming during dinner time on the weekend. I recommend parking in a lot or garage and walking here. Street parking is quite limited.
Their pho is incredible and their fresh rolls divine. My only complaint? On my most recent visit I got pho as takeout, and the broth was so hot, it actually deformed the takeout container it was in. I don't remember that in the past, so I think they must have switched brands. The broth leaked and I was concerned about leaching from melted plastic. Great food, just need to go back to the old containers.
Food was delicious. I had the pho with shrimp. The shrimp were great, the veggies were fresh, and the broth was flavorful and slightly spicy. I definitely recommend it.
