Love a good mom and pop coffee shop! And Lighthouse is literally that! Rob’s wife and 2 young kids were there hanging out when my sister and I went. Our lattes were delicious! They have a pretty great loyalty program that you just input your phone number for. Decor is so cute. Staff is very friendly. I love that they have a monthly book club! They have a little kids’ section with books and toys, which is so nice as a mom with young kids. Just knowing kids are welcome is a plus! While we didn’t partake in any of the pastries, they looked delicious. Reasonable prices. Milk alternatives. Will definitely be back.

Lighthouse Coffee and Roasters is one of the many independent coffeeshops in North Kingstown. You can find it on Route 1 on the northbound side of the road, as if you're driving up towards Providence. The coffee and service are excellent. The sandwich menu has a lot of choices, with some gluten free options available. Staff were knowledgeable about allergens and what ingredients were in the baked goods. It was a comfortable place to order food. One thing about Lighthouse is that they have a book club that meets every first Sunday of the month at 4 PM. Places that host third space events are wonderful additions to a community. You can tell the locals like it because there are a lot of police and fire patches adorning one of the walls. I really enjoy the unique coconut bean pour over coffee and gluten free blueberry muffins here. This is a unique family owned business that is one of my regular stops!

I was in store today to purchase coffee beans for my husband and a friend that I’m gonna visit in California. The gentleman at cashier was very informative since I personally don’t drink coffee so I needed some guide. Not only that, he also was very kind to give my little one an espresso coffee cup with a lid (empty cup no coffee, she’s energetic enough) which made her day! She was so excited that she was officially getting a ‘coffee’ from a cafe! What an experience! (Plus that’s the cutest cup ever) Coffee cake was delicious! Will definitely be back for more calories! My girlfriend and her mom decided to give Lighthouse a try. We ordered 3 Big iced coffee and 3 Chorizo wraps. The total was $75 BEFORE tip. That is outrageous. We can go down the street to T’s restaurant and it be that price for much more food. All 3 iced coffees tasted sour. The food was decent but not at all worth the price tag. People complain that customers don’t support small businesses but how can you when you’re charging a fortune for just coffee and a wrap.
