Lewes Public Library

What an incredible public library!! First, the staff are wonderful; so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Second, the building is awesome with many places to sit and private rooms for use. They even have a huge fireplace! Finally, the selection of books is amazing. Such a valuable resource for anyone living here

Great experience this morning at the Lewes Public Library. Spoke with Jane for some insightful career consulting regarding a move I'm considering. She was very helpful and gave me terrific ideas. (I was a walk-in for her). Then, I needed assistance getting a new library card and some reference books. The front desk was very helpful, polite, and provided me with resources about events that are planned.

I want to say thank you to the woman that helped us today. We were having so much trouble with the Millsboro post office. She helped us to get in touch with our congress lady McBride to fix our problem.

The Lewes Public Library is a beautiful place. It is nicely decorated, very clean, and organized. The staff there is very friendly and always ready to help you if needed. The only minus I found there today was that it was extremely cold. Unfortunately I forgot my sweater so I was freezing. If not for that I would have given it 5 stars.

Nice small library. Well kept and clean. Unfortunately the nonfiction shelves have zero indication of the sorting system used and there are not many books available. It is also very quiet, which is not bad, but it also means that everyone there is constantly looking at everyone else if they do anything.
