Amazing! I was looking for a new soul food spot and I found it! I drove from Chester to get me some and will do so many more times! Lena was such a lovely person with great hospitality! I had fried whitening with yams Mac and cabbage! Everything was a 10/10! The flavors were so good and cooked to perfection! The yams are amazing and even the homemade teas! Thank you Lena!!

If you’re looking for the best Black American cuisine in Wilmington, DE, this is the place to go. My go-to meal is the fried whiting with green beans and macaroni and cheese—absolutely delicious. I make the trip from Philadelphia every week just to eat here. It’s that good.

Big no for me.. the candied yams weren't sweet and dry. The mac is boxed mac that I had to add seasoning to (in the photo my seasoning). The best thing on the platter were the wings (ate one at the time of the photo). My is just a Delaware thing, im from philly.. this platter wasn't worth the 17.99 I spent.

Ordered the rib platter with yams & mac with a side of cornbread. I should’ve known not to order there when it was empty on a Friday evening. Ribs were so fatty I found myself spitting them out with each bite. Mac was bland and dry. Found mold in my cornbread. The yams were the only good part. Needless to say, I didn’t finish it. Very disappointed

Had the fish mac and cheese yams only problem with this yams were too too sweet and syrupy. jerk chicken leg quarter macaroni and cheese collards was great. Now we we're extremely un happy with the peach cobbler peaches were dark brown unusually dark not juicy at all more less dry which made me wonder was it fresh ended up throwing both away very dissatisfied.
