Leggio's Italian Restaurant

First off, the building had a musty odor and was badly in need of updates. The service was good, but the food was abysmal. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was way too sweet and upon the first bite of a meatball, I bit into a piece of gristle. I was done after that. My wife ordered chicken franchais. The chicken was fine, but the pasta was submerged in water (seemed like it wasn't strained enough) and the butter/lemon flavor was non-existent because it was watered down. The only part of the meal that was good was the mozzarella sticks (the dipping sauce was different than the pasta sauce). For what we got, it was overpriced, as well. Would not recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed my dinner here, it was excellent! I started with Italian wedding soup, which was full of luscious meatballs and tasty broth. I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce. It was full of clams, dreamy sauce and taste! My mom ordered Lori's special pasta, which she explained was full of meat packed with flavor! The garlic knots were just OK, a bit dry. We ordered the tiramisu cake, this was also delicious. We really loved our food. The restaurant's atmosphere is a bit dated and the booths/tables are rickety but it's worth it for the Italian food!

We ordered delivery, a mushroom cheeseburger and a silician pizza. The cheeseburger was extremely raw and cold, and yet full of grease when I bit into it. I had to spit it out. Our pizza never arrived. Called store and told them, it will take another 45 minutes. Simply disgusting! Very disappointed! You guys should do better!

Took my family here for Sunday dinner. Great waitress! Husband ordered lasagna.-why would you serve red sauce that tastes odd like its from a can? 17 yr old ordered stuffed shells. Same sauce. 13 yr old had eggplant manicotti-if that is what you call it. I had eggplant Parmesan. Eggplant Tasted old , looked old , eggplant slices were thick and had skin that was bitter -why wasn’t it peeled ? The pasta was ok. Bruschetta was good as was the soup. We wont be back. After spending well over $100 and getting home and being sick!! 🤢 I will be warning people to stay away !!
