Fabulous! That describes this place that is charming in a charming town along Lake Tahoe. All food that hit the table was seasoned and flavorful. Rather if it was the lobster bisque soup, salads, the organic Sonoma chicken with wild mushrooms, or the desert sampler it was all just...fabulous! The owner / chef stopped by our table and we had a pleasant conversation. He was very friendly and wanted to ensure that everything was prepared per our expectations and we said yes...10 out of 10 on this dinner! Make a reservation here and you won't be disappointed with this crown jewel restaurant.

Amazing place to dine! We tried this place on a whim and all I can say is wow. The food was exceptional and the service was top notch. The lobster bisque, chicken and veal were all amazing. Can’t wait to go back

We have not been here in years, but decided to go for my husband’s birthday. What a pleasant Surprise! Everything perfect! Staff, food, service! Everything. Sarah was our server she was delightful. The food came out in perfect order. We will go again soon! Thank you for everything.

We had a wonderful experience here. It is for sure Tahoe’s hidden gem, literally. It’s tucked away behind a cluster of restaurants, a bar and other small businesses. When we walked in, we instantly loved the ambiance. It reminded us of an old school ski lodge. So much charm! The service was wonderful, and OMG the food was amazing!! I highly recommend the escargot and the duck. In addition, the call, oysters and soufflé fries were so good!! A must try for sure!!!

Had high hopes for this one. Brought our family here for my birthday dinner. We arranged our whole day around a meal here. Unfortunately, after 75 minutes no food had been served and the staff failed to communicate issues with the oven in the kitchen so we were never served our main dishes. The appetizers we tried were underwhelming. The staff still charged us $190 for mainly drinks. Dirty bathroom and poor form all around on front-of-house and back-of-house. They were kind enough to let our dog sit with us outside, but the experience left such a bad taste in mouths that we will not be returning. As a family who has lived in Tahoe for 3 decades, I unfortunately recommend for all Tahoe residents or visitors, take your business elsewhere.
