This food is absolutely delicious. The flavors and seasoning are phenomenal. Everything is fresh. The family is warm and extremely kind. The food is inexpensive and the serving sizes are plentiful. You can't go wrong with anything that you order at Lavish. I appreciate the fact that they give you samples (had us in there dancing). Thank you for making our bellies full and happy! You are a wonderful addition to DE.

Best Soulfood I've had in Wilmington! No,they did not pay me to write this review....lol First 10/10 on the customer service, wait time and Food Presentation. Now, let's talk about the food....Flavor out of this world. My husband and I were humming every bite. You can tell when food is made with patience and love. We ordered a simple meal....The special of the day, Honey BBQ Wings....I had Mac and Yams, he had Mac and Yellow Rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. Mac was cheesy, Yams sweet but not like diabetes sweet lol and the chicken, especially the BBQ sauce....OMG! The platter was only $12 We also ordered a Banana Pudding 10/10 and A Watermelon Tea 10/10 Needless to say we were full and highly satisfied! We will definitely be back to try something else from these lovely ladies! Ma

All questions about food restrictions were answered. Really nice people and the service was fast.$10 platters and specials available. Don’t sleep on this location cause it’s inside of a gas station,food is delicious and filled me up.

I went to place an order close to closing time, and got a salmon bowel with broccoli and yellow rice. The salmon was over cooked , the broccoli wasn’t even seasoned. The only thing that was good was the shrimp . If I could I wouldn’t give them any stars but it won’t allow you to do that .

In the gas station. $10 platters and more. Ordered fish platter 2 sides mac and cheese, cabbage and sweet potatoes. Food was a little peppery but good. Enough for 2 servings. I got the crusty bottom of the Mac, just the way I like it. Crispy fish, cabbage has large peppers in it. The sweet potatoes were a rough mash. The test is the fork full of sweet potato and Mac and cheese. Spot on!
