Was gifted a bag of this coffee as a gift. I never would've bought this brand. I have no idea why but I wouldn't. I take my coffee very serious and I thought it was good. Seemed really fresh with a nice crema during my pour over preparation.
Would’ve given one star, but have had good coffee in the past. Lavazza, your “Costiera” Light Roast is being roasted either too hot, too long, or not being cooled quickly enough. Customer Service is excellent, but I don’t have confidence in your Brand of roasted ground coffee if it says “light roast” on the bag but is actually medium to dark roast in the bag. Quality control shouldn’t be letting this product out of the plant.
No walk-ins allowed here. Their retail unit is located here and is called Italy Best Coffee but they only sell online and through Amazon. No returns allowed which is unacceptable especially when you receive old, stale, beans. They charge PA sales tax on coffee which is a violation of the PA tax code.
Loved the coffee since the first sip, this facility is amazing and beautiful by the way!
