La Tartine

Cozy café vibes, perfect for a slow afternoon. La Tartine is such a gem in downtown West Chester. I grabbed a savory crepe (fresh tomatoes, basil, and melted cheese — simple but amazing) and it hit the spot. You can taste the quality in every bite, and it’s plated beautifully even on a casual paper dish. I also tried both their coffee and an espresso — both smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The latte in the glass mug was especially good, not too bitter, with just the right creaminess. Loved the window seating — perfect for people-watching, getting a little work done, or just relaxing with your drink. The food was very good and the service was even better! This is the falafel platter and potato leek soup. The staff made sure we had everything we needed a couple of times during our meal. Highly recommend this place! The even have gluten free wraps! All soups are GF!

I love finding places where there are many gluten free options. I have celiac disease, and at many restaurants I feel incredibly limited. Here, I was so excited to discover that most of the menu had a gluten free option. I got the falafel salad and the gluten free sourdough. I haven’t had sour dough since going gluten free so I felt so happy to treat myself to that. The servers I met were both very nice.

I tried the Dubai Chocolate Latte today, and it was fantastic. The food is always great, no matter what I get. Today I had the Lebansese beef and rice bowl with yogurt, and it was perfect for a cold day.

The food is great and the smoothie was also. I got the chicken wrap with a little spicy sauce and it was amazing. The prices are a little high but the quality is better than similar places.
