Lauretta's Italian Bake Shop & Cafe

Cute little cafe and bake shop. The owner is super sweet you can tell that she cares about each person. I watched her carry out a mom’s food so she could take her baby meanwhile it was the middle of dinner rush. It’s the small touches that remind us that there is still a little bit of good in people.

Got a few items for pick up including mozzarella sticks, margherita pizza, and chicken parm. Everything was very delicious. The only thing I would say is the tomato bisque was better than the minestrone. The minestrone seemed to be mostly celery and carrots. I will definitely be back!

Ordered on uber eats and was bitterly disappointed . My “ravioli” was swimming in watery sauce ( see picture) and the Alfredo was bland as hell. A tv dinner pasta from target would have been better tasting. I would give a zero if I could

Delicious, house-made pasta and other entrees. Don't sit outside for dinner unless you like the roaring traffic sounds 😂 I loved my vodka sauce gnocchi, though I felt it could have a tad more vodka or spice. The same goes for the tiramisu—more coffee! My mom lives in Illinois and loves Lauretta’s.

This is not really a restaurant although they do have a few tables. The tables are tall and the chairs are very uncomfortable . It's mostly for pick up. We did dine in however. The lasagna was absolutely delicious but not nearly hot enough. The garlic bread and the minestrone soup were delicious as well. I would go back there for pick up but not to eat there.
