Black Lung Brewing Grayslake

Great neighborhood taproom with several good draft options. Greeted immediately when we entered. Seating choices included bar, high top and regular table options. Our smash burgers were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Keep in mind this is a bar first with a restaurant. Great service with great beers. Our food arrived at our table super fast after we placed our order; I mean really quickly. We plan to come back in better weather so that we can enjoy some outdoor seating.

Very happy to see Black Lung come to fill the amazing space. It is a perfect location at the intersection of Center and Lake street. We were able to come in for the soft opening before they were fully open so some items may be different from our experience. The restaurant is open and can be noisy because of the style of the room. There are beautiful art pieces showing off issue is Grayslake and parts of the brewery. They also have some arcade cabinets. They had a decent menu that we were excited to try. We started the cheese curds. Sure it was more of cheese cubes instead of curds but they were massive and tasted great. My wife had the Summer Grove salad and I had the Habanero hot honey chicken sandwich. We were both very happy with our meals. I had there Oktoberfest, left fork

Great spot with good food, great service, and a good vibe. Had multiple beers and all were great and so were the cheese curds! They have a Galaga machine and a Metallica pinball machine too! Great spot to bring a kid as it’s pretty open and they can walk around a bit and be fine.

Had an amazing time at the soft opening for the Grayslake. The atmosphere was very chill. Everything was very clean very nice art. The staff was very attentive. We were greeted upon arrival and seated within a promptly time. We Had a party of five people. Our food came within a reasonable amount of time. everything was great! Waiter was very attentive and checked on our table multiple times. We arrived to our reservation at 5 PM and we were finished with our food and our stay by 6 PM! I’d say that’s great service!!
