I decided to visit this spot because it has really high reviews on Google. Unfortunately, the reviews did not match my experience. While they did make a really good shrimp Mofongo. Unfortunately the rest was not good. Their Pork Mofongo was horrible. I mean I find better Pernil in bodegas the rice taste like something made out of a box. Definitely not Puerto Rican made. The Alcapuria was undercooked and the prices were too high, especially for this area. My guess is all the out of town traffic coming in to the casino gives a false taste review of what real Puerto Rican food should taste like.

An amazing and authentic Puerto Rican restaurant! This was our first time dining here, and Ian immediately made us feel right at home. The space is beautifully decorated, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ian went above and beyond to provide great service. He not only explained the menu in detail but also took the time to get to know us. The food was incredible. We started with alcapurrias and empanadas, both perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we enjoyed classic rice, beans, and sweet plantains alongside a variety of dishes. I had the shrimp with sofrito sazón. It was absolutely to die for. My family loved the chicharrón de pollo and the pork chops. We left completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Food .. Delicious. Vibe .. Chill. Service .. On point. 🔥🇵🇷 Full Sabor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lobster & shrimp mofongo was straight 🔥. Alcapurrias to start, sangria on point, apple pastelillo for dessert — everything hit. Real Puerto Rican vibes, mad chill atmosphere, and the service was solid. My new spot.

I'm here now just loving the food, the ambience.. you walk in past a huge Puerto Rican flag and the pride just hits you.. the food is a 10 out of 10 ... I had the shrimp mofongo with the sauce on the side as I have to watch my salt intake but I really did not have to worry as it was so flavorful and not a bit salty ... Will definitely come back very very soon ... My new spot 💕

Still sitting at the restaurant as a write this review because i couldn’t wait — ellos se la botaron. First time here and it’s officially my favorite puerto Rican restaurant in all of New York. I’ll be back! 🇵🇷❤️
