Latimer Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I stayed for a two night stay here. It was our first B&B experience and we were very impressed. Our host, Darlene was super kind and made us feel welcome. She made a huge breakfast and was very knowledgeable about things/places to go/see in the town. Everything was in walking distance and very quiet. I loved everything about this town and the accommodations. If you are looking for a homey quiet unique place to stay, this is the spot to go. I hope to come back and stay again!

I LOVED staying at Latimer. The whole place is a little gem from the past, Darlene is really sweet and welcoming. She was super flexible with check in (any time basically) and we felt as if we were at home. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were spotless and had so many nice touches (shower gel for him and for her!) and the breakfast was huge and delicious. Highlight of our great river road trip so far.

Beware. If you like rock hard beds. Weird decorating, a forced early check in, not being able to come and go at will...and an awkward breakfast...by all means...stay here. Also, the bathroom was shared by both of the upstairs rooms. We almost missed being able to get our room because of our 830pm check in...and since there is no AC in the room, we were at the mercy of the house owner...so it was a hot, uncomfortable night on a rock hard bed.

Very nice home. Clean. Wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay and would come back
