The fried chicken and chicken steak were super tasty — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor! But the braised pork rice and rice noodles really need improvement. They had no taste at all, almost like drinking water. Hope they can work on the seasoning because the fried food was actually really good!

If you haven’t tried Taiwanese popcorn chicken before, this is the perfect place to start. Their popcorn chicken is authentic, with a crispy, golden exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior that won’t disappoint. There are also some simple tables and chairs set up inside, providing a space to enjoy your meal. The shop is located inside Secoya Market and sells traditional Taiwanese street food. They also offer Japanese sushi but I haven't had the chance to try it.

I ordered the popcorn chicken listed at $6.31 after tax, but I was charged $9.64 without my consent. It seems a 50% tip was automatically added, which is completely unacceptable. Tips should be optional and based on service not added without approval. This kind of pricing dishonesty is disappointing and unprofessional. Be careful and check your receipts, others might be getting overcharged without even realizing it. I won’t be ordering from here again.

I asked the kitchen staff at LaTa if they could make me a chicken salad and they did! 🤤 Very good!! Very friendly staff!!

Popcorn chicken here is 🔥!! The new milanesa tortas are also amazing. LaTa offers made to order authentic Mexican and Taiwanese dishes. The shrimp fried rice is good and cheap. 🤤
