I have lived in NYC since 1994 and I have eaten in many restaurants all over the world. My husband discovered this restaurant recently in our neighborhood and I am so happy he did. I have already been there twice and can’t wait to go back. Not only the food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients, but the service and hospitality are outstanding. Our whole family enjoyed our dinner so much, my grandchildren asked for seconds and loved the delicious bread. If you want to eat food that tastes like homemade, not to mention the amazing desserts this restaurant has on their menu you must try it!

I ordered the octopus and the salmon and both dishes where amazing. The octopus plate reminded me so much of my mom’s home made fish stew! The salmon came with a fried goat cheese, roasted cauliflower and beets and I must say all that was in the plate was mouthwatering. Finally I ordered basbusa as dessert and it was the perfect finish for all the food. I can’t wait to come back and taste all the other plates they have in the menu! The service was also very attentive and sweet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

A charming little restaurant with very friendly staff. The decor was very middle eastern and warm/inviting. The food was fairly good and was served on colorful dishes. We waited for 45 minutes for our drinks and had to ask for them after our food had already come out. The food also took a while to come out too. Service was overall slow. The seasonings they had out on the tables were very nice; za’atar, salt, and paprika. Hope this helps!

Really delicious meal! We were disappointed that they didn’t have their burekas available on Sunday morning - this was the real reason we came in. We enjoyed the mezze platter to share which was perfect. The eggplant was very delicious! The lashevet coffee was like a coffee slushie, DEF overpriced at $7.50.

I heartily recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a great meal in an intimate, friendly setting. Lola and her team have created a terrific menu blending Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine served by a staff who cares. We recently took over the restaurant with large party, which can be challenging. The team put amazing energy into the food, service and experience. Our group raved about the time there.
