Las Carnitas Restaurant, Alexandria Va.

Looking for a Latino hole in the wall spot to hang out, where the tunes are catchy, friendly games at pool tables and soccer is on the TV, and families are enjoying their time. The wait staff are friendly and attentive, making sure my drink was always replenished. The pupusas are my favorite here, and reasonably priced at 2 for about $5. The Chicharron is a hit or a miss, this last time it was kind of dry, but I love the Yucca fries it comes with.

We ate lunch here last month before going to tour Mt. Vernon. We chose this place because of other google reviews and the close proximity to our destination and we were not disappointed. While the interior decor is dated and a bit dull, the restaurant was clean and the food and service were great. Looks can be deceiving!

Amazing food! The waitress was so attentive and friendly. Everything we ordered the pupusas, steak and cheese with fries and three tacos was so delicious. We will be coming again and again!

Try the beef nachos (nachos con carne), they're Fantastic! Seriously, the best I've ever had anywhere. I literally come back just to get nachos here whenever we're in VA. Cozy little bar area with a good size dining area, and a couple of billiard tables. Highly recommend, will return.

Great food, had the pupusas and carne asada. Definitely worth it.
