Las Calles De Chihuahua

I was trying out new places in town and thought this one looked like a good option. Upon walking in, I felt that it had a really good vibe. People were clearly enjoying themselves. There’s a large space in the back where people were playing cornhole. I noticed it was quite smoky in there. I’m assuming there’s an issue with their exhaust in the kitchen. Not a huge deal but noticeable. I found myself really wanting to like this place, but the service was pretty bad and there seemed to be issue after issue. First, I asked for chips with salsa and queso. The guy went and stood behind the bar right in front of me for like 10 minutes just to say they were out of chips because they weren’t supposed to be open. Okay. Fair enough. Things happen. I looked over the menu which didn’t have any pricing.

Stumbled upon this gem while driving by! The service was excellent and the food was great! Especially the Elotes! I would love to see more options on the menu but I’m sure that will come in time! The owner even stopped to say hello! They also have dance parties every weekend!

I have finally found a place that makes amazing tortas. I ordered the steak fajitas one and boy was I not disappointed. The Al pastor tacos my wife ordered were amazing. The owner/assistant owner, was a joy to talk to. I hope this place of business lasts. Will most definitely come back and try the recommended torta.

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and I enjoyed the cook singing as he must enjoy his job. The waitress/server was the best. Shes fast and friendly. Very hospitable. We will definitely be back.

A little slice of Texas in South Dakota. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were amazing. Great portion size and a great price. Definitely recommend stopping if you are in Rapid City.
