The Mud Hole of the Black Hills

We came in not knowing what to expect and pleasantly surprised off of an 8 hour car ride starving <3 this place is absolutely delicious! I got a fat ass Hashbrown onions and peppers, smothered in gravy. Honestly it's probably the absolute best breakfast I've ever had at a restaurant (I'm not a breakfast for breakfast person) my party of 8 (one child) everyone has absolutely loved there meal and we all cleaned our plates for the most part lol. Listening to the chef cooking and singing rockin and rolling the kitchen made me smile you can tell he loves it.... (I've been a opener/chef for a small coffee and Bistro for a few years, cook in general) my heart is full. Traveling from mn if I ever get back here I'll absolutely stop, amazing portions, amazing flavors, amazing staff and the vibes are

We stopped in for breakfast with our School of Mines student before leaving town to head home. The Biscuits and Gravy brought us in, and honestly, they're better than the ones my wife makes! Cool homey atmosphere and very reasonable prices. I can't wait to come back and try lunch!

Definitely an interesting little spot definitely hole in the wall not open very much only from 7 to 11:00 Monday through Friday good food like to say everything is homemade sausage patties aren't but the gravy and biscuits are awesome definitely worth it you can make it in

We were greeted with a genuine Hello & How are you? by the Greeter AND fellow diners. The biscuits are light as a cloud and the gravy delicious. Homey, friendly vibe. If you want the Ritz, go to the Ritz. If you want down home, friendly service and good food, come to this place.
