I had an absolutely incredible experience at Catrachos in Rapid City! From the moment you walk through the door, the entire place is beautifully decorated and welcoming. The atmosphere immediately sets the tone for a special dining experience. The décor is vibrant and inviting, and the music playing in the background creates the perfect energy for the whole experience. When the food arrived, the presentation alone blew me away. The plantains were served in a beautiful molcajete-style flat stone dish, and my chicken came on a giant stone-style plate that was absolutely stunning. My fiance and I haven't heard anything about Catrachos so we decided to try it out for her birthday. To start with, everyone was extremely polite and welcoming. The drinks were elegant and not small. I got the Honduran Yuca Frita and that was some of the best pork I've ever had, it was crispy and still juicy inside and with the fried yuca it was like a fancy loaded fries you'd get anywhere but the flavor is five times better. She got the Chicken Tacos Catrachos and holy hell they were delicious. The fanciest and most elegant taquitos you've ever seen. The Passionfruit Mousse will destroy any other experience you've had with a fruit dessert, it is to die for. Overall experience is 5/5 and I would definitely come back here to celebrate anyone I know.

Being from a big city we have struggled to find good food with the options Rapid City has to offer for fine dining or cultural cuisine. The pork belly appetizer and Churrasco steak were phenomenal. The skirt steak was so tender and flavorful that the chimichurri sauce wasn’t necessary but added a touch of fresh garlic onion and cilantro flavors. The combination of the rice, steak and surprisingly the beans and cotija cheese created a delicious flavor palette that made you feel like you traveled to Latin America. We are excited to have a restaurant like this right here in Rapid City and can’t wait to try the brunch this weekend.

Wow, what an experience! Not only a perfect romantic dining atmosphere with the quality of food, service, prices and portions! But the staff Luis, Ashley, Sarah , and executive chef make you feel like family and will accommodate to any requests or needs! It was perfect, and money best spent.
