Larry's Giant Subs

Use to come weekly until they did away with the punch cards & I retired from the hospital. My boyfriend wanted to try their Cuban sandwich which was mostly bread with very little meat. I had my usual Ultimate with extra onions & they were on the sandwich but it was bland, kind of like the onions were refrigerated and lost their flavor. I think I will stick to Jersey Mikes from now on because they are not worth the price they are asking for. The employees were really nice though.

This was our first experience at Larry's. The subs are very good and the bread is good too. The width of the bread seemed a little skinny. Maybe its like that all the time. The employees where very friendly and quick. The food came very fast. This location looks to be in an old Wendy's. They transformed it very well. I will be back. Great subs.

Phillys? Great. Cold subs? Great. Italians(yes cold but seperate category)? Great. Make sure you like lettuce and tomato - they go heavy, which i prefer but just keep it in mind. Take a pic with the giant gorilla too, its fun.

I was really impressed with the quality of food here as well as the prices. The bread tasted fresh and delicious. They don't skimp on meat or toppings. I had the Italian, kids size, and I couldn't even finish the whole thing. Highly recommend.

It's been years since I've eaten at a Larry's Giant Subs in Jesup (Gone unfortunately) and this was fun to try out when visiting Brunswick. Thought we'd go in for subs but tried the salad and Greek Gyro. I have been trying to find a Gryo as good as the ones I used to eat in Germany. This wasn't it but still pretty good. They claim it has a mix of Lamb and Beef but it isn't carved fresh like Gryos should be. My wife was pretty happy with the Large salad...think Seinfeld and George taking credit for "The Big Salad." Most impressed with the decor. Love what they did with King Kong holding a Sub. Definitely will be back to try a sub.
