Lao Ke Le Shanghai Cuisine is a cozy and welcoming restaurant that captures the comforting traditions of Shanghainese food. We started with the crab and pork soup dumplings 蟹粉小笼包, an iconic Jiangnan dish dating back to the 19th century in Nanxiang near Shanghai. Clean and modern Cantonese restaurant, food is great, lots of choices. Staff are friendly but Service is slow, they forgot some of our orders. Price in high side. If you’re in area/ mall it’s an option.

We tried Lao Ke Le Shanghai Cuisine and the place has a fun old-Shanghai vibe — neon signs, lanterns, even a rickshaw. The food was pretty good overall. They also gave us some soup dumplings, which was nice, but the skin was a bit dry. Overall, a good spot if you’re in the mood for Shanghainese dishes.

Yummy authentic Shanghainese cuisine. Really enjoyed the scallion oil noodles and the Crab + Shrimp tofu dish. The hot tea was aromatic and quite good as well.

Love this place! It’s a cozy, nostalgic Shanghai restaurant with some great Sichuan options too. The food is always delicious — full of color, aroma, and flavor. Can’t wait to come back!
