Lantana House Bed & Breakfast

The location, parking and availability of coffee or tea anytime was perfect. There is a cute porch out front to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. The owners have 2 dogs who are mentioned in the listing, unfortunately the outdoor furniture with ottomans were covered in dog hair. The linens in the bathroom and on the bed are worn, as stated, there is no service during the stay. We did not request any additional service. The owner pointed out the small tabletop fan in the bathroom for our use, which was covered in dust. There were 4 plastic hangers in the open closet for use. There was an envelope on the dresser for ‘The Chambermaid’.

This charming Bed and Breakfast is our favorite place to stay in Rockport. We came on New Year’s Eve for “First Night 2024”. |The rooms are individually decorated, the beds are comfortable and the location is perfect for walking all around downtown Rockport. We will definitely come again.

Lantana House was a very nice place to stay... comfortable bed and room, many thoughtful details, nice breakfast with homemade and local baked goods, fresh fruit, top notch homemade granola, a sweet patio for breakfast, an attentive innkeeper, spacious parking, and a great location. My husband and I stayed at this historic house while on a recent trip to explore Rockport. We loved its historic background and charm. Our room was on the second floor and steps are steep but innkeeper told us this when we booked. Room 3 has charming decor and I loved the bright, pink bathroom. There is parking in the back and best of all, you can walk to downtown! There's even a bench halfway, in front of the library, to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. If you're looking for quiet, relaxing evenings..this is the place for you. Enjoy the house and the town.

One of the best places I've ever stayed at! Richard and Tracy are so kind and accommodating. The house itself is gorgeous, well kept, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Purple Room and it was perfect; cute little bathroom, a/c, and comfy bed. It was quiet and charming. We enjoyed our coffee and complimentary breakfast in the morning, then were able to walk to everything Rockport has to offer. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Richard and Tracy!
