Lang's Marina Restaurant

Great views and location, pricey but great servings! Two people could split the meal I got maybe even three!! The crab bisque was a little thicker than I'm used to but had good flavor. All the food was great! My only complaint would be how long it took us to get our food. I understand we were a party of ten but it took a lot longer than we usually wait at other restaurants.

Its a little pricey but every restaurant is in a tourist area. We had the captains platter with fried shrimp, oysters, crab cake, tilapia, and hush puppies. We also had the seafood nachos. Everything was pretty good but nothing blew me away. Only a couple of beers on draft. It was nice to sit outside. They had fans which kept the biting nats away. Our server was quick and attentive.

Amazing food, and great service. Had the most delicious shrimp po-boy and seafood lasagna. You must try oh my God. The chef in the kitchen definitely knows how to make a great menu.

I intended to write a more filled review but my annoyance will only let me hit bullets. Restaurant is spacious, Seated promptly Modest beer selection Polite staff Quaint decor, not overwhelming with the theme Slight echo but adds to the character of the environment. So if you're a naturally loud person you will get looks as your voice will carry. Not the best sweet tea but not terrible Atmosphere says relaxed business attire but casual relaxed is nowhere near out of place. “Pleasantly” smells of seafood. Food mostly warm corn cold on the inside. The food here is quite good (the crab cakes were a particular high point). Our wait time on the Friday before Mardi Gras weekend was about 20 minutes, which wasn't awful. The only trouble with Lang's is the layout. There are two points of entry to the main dining area, but the one in the front foyer was closed and not in use. Foot traffic was bottle-necked through the rear of the store, past the kitchen entrance, which caused some issues. Also the dining area itself could use some accoistic treatment, as noise carried rather badly. Still, this would be a nice place to eat on a quiet evening.
