The Cafe

We have been shopping at Cottle and Gunn for years; at her previous locations prior to the current one. We have had intentions of trying The Cafe since Ms Deb opened it and just have not made it in, but we finally did! And let me tell you, it’s amazing. The decor (just like her store) is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the food is great! My wife and I both had the B.L.A.T. (Bacon, lettuce, avocado, & tomato). I had the Dill Potato salad as my side and my wife had the Cesar salad. Our son had a half turkey sandwich with fresh fruit (honey dew, cantaloupe, and grapes). We all enjoyed our meal. There is a wide range of desserts to choose from as well. The prices are good (approx $60 for the 3 of us). I highly recommend checking it out! GREAT JOB MS DEB!

This café is truly a gem! The food and baked goods are always so fresh and made with excellent quality ingredients. The dining area is adorable and the employees are some of the sweetest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. It’s easily one of my favorite places to eat in St. Mary’s. The food never disappoints! I often stop by to grab some of their delicious treats to go. 😋Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere!

Any business that cares heart and soul about their products and service the way The Cafe does can be considered a rarity. The food is exceptional, crafted entirely in-house by people who understand the value of real food. During the last two months of travel we have dined at a *few* places. But this is the one we will always remember.

The cafe is located within the shop Cottle & Gunn that offers vintage items and housewares among other things. There are large tables, and people join for a nice chat. The drip coffee tasted surprisingly well. I enjoyed the quiche and liked the setting. The cafe closes before the shop.
