They massively need to Improve detecting/finding your location. Had multiple times I had to call unfortunately over the years and they just kept asking where I'm at even though I provided the location multiple times. I'm sorry I don't know what borough or township I'm in 24/7. Especially when driving. It's called Google maps. Look up the address or general area. Seriously ridiculous. In the event of an emergency knowing the address is as good as it gets. If your on a road and giving the road name and names around you and city isn't enough then why bother calling?

LCWC is a great service to Lancaster County! Hard working individuals day and night that take the emergency calls one call at a time. These individuals are extremely overlooked but their work goes beyond just a thank you. The recent salary adjustment was much needed for the work behind the phones. Thank you for all you do!

My husband was bleeding profusely and had lost a lot of blood. I didn't call the ambulance because we live out in the countryside and by the time they would have reached us I thought it could be too late. I was driving him to the hospital as quickly as I could and called 911 to ask them to alert the hospital because I didn't think he would be conscious by the time we arrived and I would need help getting him out of the car. When I quickly explained the situation the 911 operator said "Ma'am, what do you expect me to do?" I explained how much blood he had lost and asked her to contact the hospital because I would need help and a wheelchair. She said that there were wheelchairs inside the door, I should just pull up to the ER Entrance and get one myself. She refused to notify the hos
