Lake Tahoe Pizza Company

I was blown away by the pizza at the Lake Tahoe Pizza Company. The pizza was fantastic. It's the oldest independent family owned pizza restaurant in Tahoe, been around since 1973. The sauces are all house made. Real deal. The pizza is a pan pizza baked in a brick deck oven. Pricing is not outrageous. Customer service is awesome. The pizza crust comes in four choices: house speciality, whole wheat, corn flour, and gluten free. I choose the house speciality. All the crusts are home made and made to order. The dough isn't pre rolled. We choose the house speciality dough. It smelled delicious. Plus it looked so cute with the crust braided. Don’t let the quirky building & decor dissuade you from trying this delicious pizza in South Lake Tahoe. It was fantastic! We had the Mean Greek and the Mogul Masher. Loved the crust and the sauce tasted truly homemade. The salad bar had everything you count on in a salad bar. Great service and plenty of seating can be found both inside and out back. Definitely worth the stop if you are in South Lake Tahoe!

Came for dinner this evening for the first time since I was a kid around 30 years ago and the food is still on point! They also have a pretty good looking salad bar and a decent drink list. Highly recommend.

Please stop telling everyone "20-30 min" for phone orders, no matter how busy you are. Sometimes, actually kind of often, it is actually over an hour for takeout/pickup before our pizza is ready. Other than that strangely consistent issue, amazing food and vibe!

Holy crust! The crust here is amazing! Beautiful crunch while not being too hard. The garlic chips appetizer was really good with ranch dip, strong garlic flavor. The Hawaiian style pizza was lacking some flavor, but still worth trying. The margherita pizza was perfect, the tomatoes were not mushy. Overall the pizzas were really good, I would’ve liked more sauce. The staff were friendly and attentive. Be prepared for a wait, everything is fresh!!!!
