Lago's Ice Cream

We’ve been coming here every summer for years. They have fun flavors to choose from. I don’t eat dairy ice cream and they usually have one or two vegan options available. The sizes are huge! Be aware of what you’re ordering as the small is anything but! There’s plenty of parking out front and in the grassy lot next door, but on a hot summer day, it can get really busy. Someone is always leaving, so just be patient. It’s worth it. They are CASH ONLY.

Excellent! Very good quality ice cream and amazing selection of flavors that you won’t see anywhere else. I got a ‘baby’ sized Albanian Baklava, and it was near perfect. Chunks of baklava, some honey, nuts, just heavenly. The baby size was good for me, one big scoop for a reasonable price. A friend got a small which was a lot of ice cream and I heard that the large comes in a small pail? I’m absolutely looking forward to going back and trying more flavors like Indian Pudding!!

Ok, if you go to the NH beaches, DO NOT MISS getting ice cream here! The flavors…oh my! The size of the SCOOPS…OH MY! The incredibly friendly and efficient staff (you local kids rock!). Let’s just say, you won’t be disappointed. The “baby” scoop is the size of a naval orange, the small scoop is the size of a small grapefruit and the large…not sure I saw that size but I imagine it to be quite impressive! All 5 flavors we tried over the course of 3 consecutive visits were delicious but can I just send out a rave for the Black Raspberry Oreo with HUGE Oreo chunks and the Cow Pie, a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate explosion of perfection? So many more flavors to experience that I can’t wait to go back! Go…you will not be sorry you did!

Delicious ice cream at reasonable prices. They also always have multiple dairy-free/vegan flavors. Always busy, but never too long of a wait. Cash only though so be prepared.

What can I say great ice cream quick service, this place is a winner and I recommend stopping by. The only odd thing I noticed is that it was confusing how the prices were posted maybe there on their website. But it’s not a stopper.
