Lafayette Public Library

Great library. Well staffed even at 7 30pm on a Wednesday, and they were helpful and friendly. A good amount of people using the space as well. Two stories, lots to offer, and a good way to escape the heat or the cold. Some cool art around as well. Right behind it are some great neighborhoods too for some walking!

Fabulous library for adults, kids, and caregivers alike. Librarians are all incredibly inclusive and helpful. They always go above and beyond for their patrons.

This is a nice library with ample space for all age groups, and because it is sufficiently large that different age groups have their own spaces, the designated areas for reading or studying quietly remain quiet (at other libraries I've been to, a common problem is that noisier children can make it difficult to stay focused while reading, but this is not much of a problem here). There are plenty of desks and also comfortable armchairs which are great for reading or working at. Overall, I like this library a lot, and even though it's farther than other libraries compared to where I live, I prefer to go to this library.

The lack of clear information (board games can be removed for use by younger than teen age patrons), the referral to collections for late materials (which is not sent in clear or really any format to avoid fees when the library has become "fee free"), changing (stopping) access to the teen area where gaming consoles are for siblings in the teen area despite having younger age games and some families that either do not have resources or do not want home game systems and despite the fact that there are not other patrons of teen age at the time, the hours for areas for specific age use (maker space is open but barely past the time middle schools let out which may also affect families with younger kids who also have to do pickups), the massive personnel turnover, the lack of programming that
