Ladles Soups Downtown

Ok, rarely give 5 stars. But this place earned it. I need a lunch place close to the MUSC College of Dental. This was a short walk. Great food, comfortable place to sit, fantastic service with suggestions. Definitely going again. And the She Crab soup was fantastic. Took a batch home also.

Had a great lunch trying the she crab soup and the chef salad. I absolutely loved the homemade ranch dressing and my friend said that turkey chili was fantastic. Very cute cozy atmosphere loved the exposed brick walls,antique toilet and the very spotless clean kitchen and dining room also great price point.

We love the soup selection at Ladles! My favorite is the Greek Lemon Chicken, but all of their soups are very tasty. We've enjoyed Ladles for nearly a decade now (at two different locations), and they never disappoint with their selection of delicious soups, sandwiches & salads. Great staff & owners, too.

This place has the best sandwiches in Charleston. Great portions, affordable, and delicious - they taste home made but only better. Their soups have good flavor, but theyre a little thick. Sandwiches more than make up for that though. Especially when you can get half a soup and half a sandwich.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon with 2 guests - restaurant wasn't very crowded (just a few other guests). Wouldn't describe staff as necessarily friendly - just did their job. Nice, clean atmosphere in a cute little tucked away location.
