This place is amazing! The best food I have eaten on my trip to DC. All the food was fresh and high quality ingredients. You MUST try the mint lemonade! It is SO good & refreshing I loved all the interesting toppings like pickled turnips, Mediterranean pickles and roasted cauliflower. I had a half rice, half salad chicken shawarma bowl with tzatziki & spicy cilantro sauce. It was SO good. I could eat that every day. I also tried the za’tar fries, the hummus with pita and the baklava. It was all so good. 😍 The staff was super friendly and nice. Highly recommend!!! 10 of 10, for sure! Only a little sad I am leaving tomorrow & they don’t have a Boston location yet. 😉
The atmosphere, seating, bathrooms, 100% halal food, and service were all amazing. Wrap and bowl portions are generous, 1 order of bowl or wrap will feed 2. There are a lot of good toppings and they're generous with them. The mint tea lemonade is delicious. Highly recommend this spot, i'll comeback for sure. I had the Lamb and Beef shawarma with zaatar fries. The fries alone were worth coming back for. Shout out to Hamdi, he was very welcoming and made the experience even better. They have bench seating, so come here with friends!
The food is so good. Everything tasted fresh and had great flavor. The service was friendly, warm, and personal. The team took the time to break down the menu, share recommendations, mentioned the falafel was a family recipe, and let us taste the their incredible mint lemonade. The vibe was casual and clean. We’ll definitely be back! Y’all support this family-owned small business!
I loved the food at La'Baik! Had a fantastic quick lunch here with the other day. The owner was friendly and welcoming and shared that the falafel is a 40-year-old recipe from his father. It truly was something to be proud of! I ordered it as a pita. You get to pick the veggies and sauces that go into it. Then they served it warm and pressed. Yum. Highly recommend.
This place is fantastic. I had a chicken shawarma wrap. There were a variety of toppings and sauces available. The owner is super nice and very helpful and accommodating. The rest of the staff are skilled and cheerful. I was told that the term “La’Baik” translates to “at your service” and they certainly operate that way. Our local family dines here often and we’ll return every time we come to town. I recommend this place first a healthy and satisfying meal anytime that you’re close by.
