La Tapatía

Nice little cozy Mexican grocery store with a little restaurant, bakery, and desert bar. They have berria tacos, which is a plus. I do wish they had empenadas, though.

Went there today looking for My first taste of Tres Leches that I heard so much about. I found it and so much more. I went there for a slice of cake…and…well I left with 4 amazing tacos, some of the greatest Flan I’ve ever tasted and of course my slice of cake 🍰 x 2. 😁

Can't beat the pricing, and a lot of the baked goods looked good, but unfortunately we got donuts and they were absolutely awful. I took my daughter and we each got one; they were so stale they were inedible. And when I say inedible I'm not exaggerating: I've included a picture of how much my 3 year old made it through before she handed it back to me to throw away. And she'll eat pretty much any baked good, especially chocolate, so that tells you just how bad it was. Disappointing visit for sure.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and I'm so glad we did! We got steak tacos, barbacoa tacos and a birria sandwich. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We also got conchas from the bakery to take home and the were gobbled up quickly! Service was friendly and fast. Definitely on my list to go back asap!

Stopped in for take out tacos (steak, barbacoa, pastor), nachos (chicken) and tamales. All were excellent- also got some salsa & chips to eat thru the week. Good place for a quick bite!
