Johnny's Garage

We came here for lunch since we were in the area. The yeamans hall shopping center where this restaurant is pretty unrecognizable in a good way. We ordered the vanilla milkshake and strawberry milkshake. Which I vote delicious for the vanilla milkshake. We ordered the pizza and this is the thin pizza. We also ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and general tso chicken wings and they both pretty good. We were pretty happy with the food and the milkshake and so did the kids. We call that a win!

Great sports bar feel. We were instantly turned off as we entered, one of the taller male workers with a beard and gray shirt stood there leaned against the bar and just stared at us for 5-10 seconds (we were trying to figure out where to go because the front entrance is not obvious) until finally a female bartender saw us looking around and asked us if we needed help or a table. We asked if there were blinds to let down to block the sun and were told no they didn’t have any. 5 mins later a different worker let down blinds to the table right next to us, then we asked again and he put ours down. Our service was slow but friendly. It took a good bit before noticing/finally getting our check at the end. Pork Katsu was super crispy and great portion. Needs to have more coleslaw or more of an

Absolutely fantastic spot to grab a meal! Even though there wasn’t a host available when we walked in, the bartender greeted us right away and got us seated quickly. I tried the Grinder, the Meat Stick 3000, and the corn puppies — all of them came out hot, flavorful, and totally delicious. The timing was perfect too; we didn’t have to wait long at all. The atmosphere is super unique, with a charming rustic feel and a fun old-school gas station theme. It really adds to the whole experience. I’d definitely recommend Johnny’s Garage to friends, family, or anyone looking for great food in a laid-back, memorable setting. Thanks for the awesome meal!

Decided to try one of Charlestons newest venues in Hanahan called Johnny's garage. The place is great with a great bar and a super nice patio area which is where I choose to eat. They have a large stage area there as well. The service was great and timely, and the food was brought to the table fast and piping hot. I loved their fries the best. They were light golden brown, crispy on the outside and tender inside the way quality fries should be. I highly recommend this place. I only gave it 4 stars because it was hard to distinguish which door you go into and didn't see handicap parking. But I will definitely be heading back soon. And I highly recommend the Parm dog and fries

The food was really good and the menu is simple but has everything you need. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. The General Tso wings were absolutely delicious — definitely the highlight for us! We’ll definitely be coming back to try more.
