La Strada At Lake Lure

I can not believe how expensive it was for this food. I understand it's lake lure but I mean, come one it's not even that good. It's literally just a place for rich people. This is a picture of the 27.99$ seafood platter. It's a piece of fish, 2 scallops, and 5 shrimp that the breading didn't stick to and the cold items was placed in with the hot items. Everyone love's hot coleslaw, right? The other picture is the 18.$ BBQ rib sandwich topped with cheese and crispy fried onions. (It's 1 onion ring) My kid had the kosher all beff hot dog that was burnt on one side. I am glad I got it to go because I would've lost my mind when handed an 85$ bill for this slop. We had a great experience at La Strada at Lake Lure and would definitely return. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and quiet, and our meals came out hot and fairly quickly. Food Highlights: • The garlic knots and white pizza are must-tries – both were flavorful and fresh. • The kids’ Alfredo portion was surprisingly large, and my daughter devoured it, which speaks to how tasty it was. Note on Photos: We forgot to take pictures at the beginning of the meal, so the photos of the pizza slices and Alfredo dish only show what was left over. We were visiting Lake Lure to see all of the damage and we decided to give La Strada a try. Let me say right now, it was awesome. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside on the front veranda. The Mountain View’s were incredible. I’ll be so glad when the lake finally returns. The restaurant sits directly in front of the Lake Lure beach area. Our service was outstanding. I started with a fantastic margarita and my wife loved her Long Island Ice Tea. We order the 12” Meat Trio Pizza and honestly it was one of the best meat pizzas I’ve ever had. We ordered with regular crust and I intend to go back for more. Plenty of seating inside and out. Do yourself a favor and visit. The local businesses need all the support they can get as the area rebuilds after the devastating floods.

The service was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, with a relaxed, comfortable vibe. But the real standout is the view—absolutely stunning! The outdoor seating offers an unbeatable look at the lake and mountains, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, La Strada combines great food, service, and atmosphere into one memorable visit. Heather was a great waitress!

The food was delicious and restaurant atmosphere was great. Portions were decent and the garlic nots hot and tasty!
