Delicious and affordable food, fast quality service and welcoming staff and owners. Makes you feel right at home as you try flavorful dishes. Clean and spacious dining. I had my pupusa stuffed with chorizo, cheese and mushrooms/beef, mushrooms and cheese and they hit every time. You can try different combos and they have a variety to choose from. I recommend putting all the fixings on and getting at least three pupusas so you have one to take home. They have a variety of fresh juices as well to which I recommend the tamarind juice if you like a more tart juice or the soursop for a sweeter juice. Every time I go I try something new as they have other dishes and desserts to try but I will always go out of my way for these pupusas. 10/10 recommend for any time or day.
I’ve eaten here for years, it is my favorite place in Lake Placid. My favorite dishes include the New Yorker Sandwich, El Bukele, and the plátano frito appetizer, plus the coffee! Get a cafe con leche (coffee and milk) with your breakfast, you won’t regret it!
So delish! We’re from Miami we’re food is diverse and mouth watering! These Pupusas (along with their other dishes) are on par! We’ve even ordered large orders-once for about 20 people and then another time for my sons bday. They are affordable, reliable and make you feel like family. The pupusa queen knows how much like my crema with my pupusa and tamales so she sends la Gringa extra 😉 She also has great fish soups, chicken dishes, pastry’s and natural juices. I recommended this 10/10.
This was a great find for our trips to Lake Placid. If you are passing through it is just a block or two off of 27 with easy parking out front. Service was friendly fly and attentive. They remembered us from a previous visit. Food was really delicious. The baked chicken special was super tasty and I would drive the for the “Famous Salvadoran Sandwich”. The pupusas are really good but do t sleep on the open faced sandwich. Prices are reasonable as well!
Tasty, freshly prepared food. I can’t overstate how delicious it is. My pupusas were so good I got two more for home. The blackberry juice was fresh and refreshing, perfect for a hot day. The service was excellent, the gentleman at the front was kind and very attentive. Overall, 11/10 stars would recommend.
