Cowboy Taco

One VERY lucky find!! We were looking for lunch at an odd time (3:30 when other local places were closed) and happen to run across Cowboy Tacos and based on their excellent reviews, decided to give it a chance. WOW! Incredible blend of flavors from the shrimp tacos to the short rib tacos and the authentic guacamole… all exceptional. Such delicious food! Worth the trip from Sebring for sure.

What a nice little restaurant. Almost too little but definitely big on value and flavor. Situated ina strip mall, if you blink, you'll miss it. A bunch of us from the teamwent there and it was a bit of a surprise the place only could seat about 16 patrons in total. It's a counter order, almost fast food set-up, but they deliver the food to the tables. That is the only reason there I gave 4 stars for service and atmosphere. The food is the star of the show. The 7 of us shared different plates. The Super Nachos were indeed super. I had the Al Pastor quesadilla to start, and the flavor was amazing. The preparations are traditional with a twist. Just had two of the chicken tacos which were delicious. The plate looked beautiful with a generous serving of pickled vegetables. Great salsa too. The truck is clean and tidy and the service was outstanding. A great stop. We’ll be going back .

Found this place right near our hotel. Great tacos and wonderful atmosphere. I got 2 steak tacos and 2 Short Rib tacos....highly recommend the short rib tacos!!!!! When back in Lake Placid I definitely will be coming back.
