La Pena Mexican Grill

La Pena continues to hit it out of the park for me. They have consistently amazing Carnitas and this weekend we discovered the Birria Pizza which was a giant quesadilla with killer Verde Salsa and Au Jus to dip in.

Birria tacos are excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is festive. Best mexican food in town.

Decent price for a huge portion! Restaurant looked clean inside. Not overly friendly, but was polite. Food was hot, however, the chicken didn't taste like it was grilled. Cheese sauce was fantastic and I really liked the salsa. For mixed fajitas and cheese dip with water to drink it was $15. The fajitas were piled high. I enjoyed the "salad" plate better than the fajitas 😞

Huge plates of food was good Wow Chimichangas dinner plate Comes w two. (Only things i could say the is waiter was not very friendly , and bathroom needed attention imo .sink area and toilet) Owner is fantastic!
