La Palmera Ice Cream Shop

If you want authentic Mexican treats in town, I think this is the only place. Otherwise you have to drive to SW Charlotte. Since this is the only option in town and there are so many Hispanics moving in now, they can lower the quality and raise the price. Ice coffee is too sweet, ice cream has too much ice so it melt instantly, they do taste good. Frutas are expensive compare to Charlotte. I would rather get a fruit parfait from Publix for $3.50. Also the shop is hidden next to Sheetz and Shell gas station.

La Palmera is an amazing lil ice cream shop. Talk about an Authentic Mexican Treat shop… right here it is. Smooth creamy ice creams. They also have Sorbets and the authentic Mexican fruit cups with the sauces. Check them out.

Omg this was the most delicious sorbet I have ever had. It was like I had just look a bite out of the watermelon it was so fresh.

So good! Great variety of treats, even some savory! Really good if you have dietary restrictions. I can’t eat gluten and generally prefer natural foods. So the variety of tropical fruits with traditional Mexican toppings hit the spot! They also make their own ice creams and sorbets! Definitely recommend this small family business.
