The Inn on Front Street

This place was a wonderful respite for us to enjoy. We highly recommend the Inn - it was very comfortable (in fact, we sleep on the most comfortable mattress we ever had); the innkeepers were very cordial and helpful; and the house itself is filled with artifacts and interesting furnishings. The continental breakfast is ok, there are many cereal, dairy, bread and fruit choices for you to enjoy. The place is quiet! The location is truly walkable to all downtown Statesville restaurants and attractions. We live only 20 miles from Statesville but wanted a 2 day retreat and we are delighted we found the Inn.

An extraordinary experience, starting with the beautiful furnishings of the Inn itself and ending with the best night’s sleep in the most comfortable bed we’ve experienced. There are many, many touches included in this Inn that make for a great stay. The innkeeper provides treats, candy, and snacks, for your refreshment through the day. The continental breakfast included homemade muffins, several different types of granola, Dave’s Killer Bagels, sourdough bread, fresh fruit, and more. Its location is just a short walk from the town of Statesville’s restaurants and shops. It is a treasure.

This Inn is perfectly beautiful and reasonably priced. The Inn's owners were amazing to work with! They were very accommodating. Our daughter and SIL had unique and sudden housing needs in Statesville, NC and the Carriage House was a OERFECT spot for us! We are so grateful and would recommend The Inn on Front Street to anyone in the area looking for housing - lovely, clean, peaceful, friendly, comfortable, perfect!

We had the very best stay at the Inn on Front Street!! Cheryl and Jason were amazing hosts! The inn has so much history and we were lucky enough to get a tour from Cheryl. The inn has all of the amenities you could possibly need - even snacks and drinks. The backyard is beautiful and the breakfast is also a nice touch! The inn is walkable to downtown which has adorable shops and restaurants. We had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

Lovely spot to stay! Owner Jason is so nice. The location is good for walking to coffee, food, etc even if not much is open for Sunday dinner. The bed was comfy, outside lush and green, and it’s just cool to stay in a small town place with character instead of the same generic hotel by the highway. Tasty breads for breakfast.
