This place is a hidden gem for Mexican food! The food was absolutely amazing. I won’t go into too much detail because I want readers to discover the magic for themselves! 😉 Having tried many Mexican restaurants in Pittsburgh and across other states, I can say this place truly exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is clean, neat, and cozy, with seating available on both the first and second floors. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Mexican cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Absolute gem!!! Very welcoming place with great service. Its a BYOB, which was not clear from the description. From the salsa to everything else we ordered was just amazing. I ordered mole Oaxaquena, my wife ordered Mexican shrimp tacos. Kids ordered steak taco and enchilada Verde and they loved it. If you like spicy food then ask for red sauce, it will blow your mind. Portion sizes are descent, mole Oaxacaquena is large so can be shared between by two people, just order side of rice. Tres leches was very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We ate here last night and everything was delicious! We love to see a family run business. They were making so much of the menu to order so it was extra fresh. We had the sweet corn tamale ( comes with cheese and sour cream), the quesabirria entree, the guarache entree, and shared a tres leches cake dessert. 9/24- Dined here again and got an updated menu. The pork tacos are so tender! I'm in love with the Flautas! The chicken with Verde sauce tamale wrapped in a banana leaf is a unique flavor. 12/24/25- Stopped in for dinner tonight and we were so happy to see other diners and to-go orders. We ordered the House Burrito and it is so delicious! Definitely shareable or to have half now and take half for later! The fries are like Potato Patch fries from Kennywood Park. We also ordered the Gord

I found this New Mexican restaurant a month ago and have been back 3 x already. It’s a small place with outstanding menu choices. Upon sitting down we were greeted by a friendly smiling young lady. She brought over some chips and homemade salsa which is amazing. She explained different menu items and we decided to try something new. I ordered chicken fajitas which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was a large portion so I took half home. If I didn’t enjoy the chips and salsa so much I probably would have finished it. My husband ordered the Mexican Style Taco - Lengua con Nopales Grilled slow-cooked cow tongue and Quesabirria shredded beef with consommé broth. He raved about it. He can’t wait to try it again. The team of servers and cooks all work so hard and constantly smile.

This location has been a revolving door of restaurants in the last decade, but I suspect this iteration is going to stick around for a while since the food is really good! There are lots of Mexican restaurants around town. Most of them are basic copycats of each other and offer mostly Tex-Mex food. This one is different. The name refers to the Mexican state of Oaxaca and I asked the waiter if that means the staff is from there? I was told that his mother and grandmother are from there, and they are the cooks in the kitchen! The next good sign was to find Mole on the menu - this is a specialty of that region (well, there are many moles, and I was curious about theirs!). The menu does have several nods to Pittsburgh and what locals expect though. Almost every entree has French Fries availa
