Great little spot. Not a single bad dish and everything was really tasty. Meatballs were some of the best I've had in the city, really delicious. Arancini was really good too wish it had more filling. The lasagna was probably the winner of the pastas just great textures and flavors, Tagliatelle bolognese was very flavorful with solid chew, and the pesto ravioli was also very solid, couldn't get too much shrimp flavor but a bit pick. Cornish hen main is fantastic perfect cook and flavor, steak was simple but perfectly cooked.
I set up at the bar. A lovely young lady from Italy was very attentive. I ordered many dishes to taste I guess my favorite course was the pork osso bucco which came in front of me and the fragrance was intoxicating. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal
Exceptional food and great atmosphere (I’m a sucker for romantic low lights) and very good service. The appetizers we ordered were all delicious, cod pate, meatballs, arancini. The meatballs stood out, so flavorful and delicious. The steak tomato bruschetta appetizer was yummy as well, such good quality. Our entrees were the linguine spicy clam pasta, bolognese ragu and hanger steak. The bolognese had such deep flavor, hanger steak melt in your mouth and linguine was actually spicy. Overall such a delightful experience and the winelist was really good also.
A great gem within the neighborhood! We came here for restaurant week after years of wanting to stop by. The staff was friendly. The wine selection was great. Also had a variety of different appetizers and offerings which we hoped for. We did not realize I was a whole upstairs that allowed for additional seating. Our restaurant week meal was filling. Between the tomato salad, polenta and chicken, and donut holes, everything was great! Would definitely come back for some more wine and appetizers.
Ordered take out from the restaurant. I like to show up and then order so I get it right when it’s done. Waited 55 minutes. Paid 15 for a small pile of lettuce.
