La Michoacana Premium - Mundelein

From time to time La Michoacana is always a go-to place for dessert for my boys after dinner. If it's ice cream we decide on instead of bubble tea, this place is definitely on the hot list of sweet treats venues. Always the same consistent friendly customer service here as any location, wide variety of ice cream flavors and various other Mexican/Latino treats at still reasonable prices. La Michoacana locations will always be booming with business wherever you go and with the weather finally warming up, I wish for continued success and prosperity for the owner(s).

For desserts and fruit stuff, one of the best places we have been to. It is an explosion of flavors, sweet, sour, spicy, and salty.... All at once and really strong.

They should call it la confusiona, I wanted to order something great there but I didn't know what they had, I saw chili cheese Fritos and chips on the wall great selection of what looked like tasty ice cream a fruit bar but the menu was out of wack there was no pricing no suggestions, I ordered a banana split and the girl looked confused, didn't know what I asked her I told her in Spanish the one with the banana and she gave me a sundae o well at least the ice cream was good lol you don't even know what toppings they have you have to look around to see what they have

My mother bought an Horchata for me, but it tasted slightly sour, suggesting it might have been expired or there was something wrong with it. For reference, I’ve had this drink many times before. When my mother called, they told her she had to come in that day for a replacement. This was a Monday after 4pm. Since she was tired, I went instead, got the drink, and left. On the way home, I tasted it, and it was still sour. I went back to politely request a refund of just $5, but the manager was condescending and refused. She claimed no one else had mentioned a sour taste and even looked at the customers behind me, as if seeking their approval. Why involve them when she should have been addressing my concern directly?
