Customer Reviews
First time at new restaurant. Menu has many choices. Lots of room between tables. Mari spoke perfectly in English, explained items and recommended the El Molcojete bowl and we filled up. Shrimp, Steak, Chicken and cactus inside. Too much chips and salsa caused us to run out of room for desert. Remember tacos are $1 on Tuesday.
My wife and daughters came for dinner on weeknight. The service was good. No wait to be seated. The chips and salsa was good. We got Shrimp nachos, steak street tacos, and steak Fajita quesadilla. The food was all very good.
We stopped in for lunch after church and were immediately seated. Our waitress did a good job checking on us the entire meal. We had the lunas trio appetizer. The best part was the thick and tasty cheese dip. I ordered the enchilada Verdes with rice and beans. Good amount of chicken and the beans were better than the rice. My wife had a birria and a shrimp taco. The salsa was a bit watery but tasted good with a small bit of heat. Overall the food needed to be seasoned a little more than it was. Its definitely better than the Mexican restaurant near Walmart. Nowhere close to mayas. There is also a small bar off to the side of the restaurant.
The salsa's served with the chips aren’t very good and served ice cold. Asked for cheese dip as well and that arrived cold with a clump of unmelted cheese on the middle. Overall, everything was mediocre. The al pastor torta was served on a nicely toasted piece of bread. The flavor of the al pastor got lost with all the ingredients inside. The steak inside the flautas was tough, chewy and in big chunks.
Wonderful food and great service! Our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Highly recommend the flaming cheese and the parrillada fajitas!! Great margaritas, queso, and flautas too!
