Definitely a hidden gem! We didn't expect to find an authentic Jamaican restaurant in Pell city but restaurant we did. The food was amazing! The staff were very nice. We ate so much there and then ordered more to go home plus we'll be back in a few days. I highly recommend this place. They were super busy by we didn't mind the wait for fresh, authentic food. Delicious! ♥️

I tried the jerk chicken and the oxtails (yes, I was being a little greedy) and both were seasoned so well I almost wanted to hug whoever was in the kitchen. The jerk chicken had that perfect kick without being overwhelming, and those oxtails were tender and full of flavor. Portion size was good, especially for the price. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. The plantains and cabbage on the side didn’t disappoint either.

Very casual but very bright and happy aesthetic. I was so impressed with the volume and quality of the food that I went back the very next day and got the same meal + a beef dumpling to go. The employees are very very nice and helpful. I say that because I’ve honestly not been impressed with the customer service offered most places in Pell City. I will be a regular here and I’m telling everyone.

We ordered curry chicken, curry goat, and jerk chicken plates - loved all of them!! Very generous portions, and very authentic - we will be back!

This was way better than anything we have available in Birmingham! I ordered the shrimp curry, and I was told it would take 15 minutes. It took less than 10 and I'm pretty sure I burned the roof of my mouth off from trying to eat it so fast, it was that good! I'm pretty sure I ordered the normal portion, and I couldn't imagine how anyone would finish it let alone the large portion. I also liked how they had Jamaican sodas available that you could choose from. I can't say anything about dessert because there was no way I could possibly try to fit in a dessert after all the food they gave me. There will definitely be a next time to try.
